Cleaner. Quieter. Smarter.
With motors installed outside the living area, central vacuums offer stronger suction than portable units, making it easier to deep-clean carpets, hard floors, furniture, and even vehicles. Unlike traditional vacuums that recirculate fine dust, central vacuums remove dirt and allergens from the home entirely, improving indoor air quality, which is especially important for allergy and asthma sufferers.
Built to Last
Central vacuum systems are designed for durability, with fewer moving parts and less wear over time. Our systems often last 15–30 years or more, adding long-term value to your home.
Quiet & Convenient
No heavy units to drag around and no loud motor in your ear. Just pull the hose out from any wall inlet and clean with minimal effort and noise.
Customizable & Versatile
From kitchen vac-pans to garage outlets and specialized attachments, Lake Valley’s central vacuum systems are built to fit your home and your lifestyle.
Custom designed for your house and lifestyle
Experience the central vacuum difference: a vacuum that lives in your mechanical room or garage, quietly humming away while you effortlessly move around vacuuming every inch of your home.
What Goes Into a System?
In-Wall Piping
The backbone of your system. Piping that runs throughout and connects all areas of your home to the central machine/canister.
Power Unit
Quality matters. The right machine will power your system and provide you with the right amount of suction, airflow and water-lift for your layout.
Why Design Matters
We often see homes where a plumber or contractor runs the piping for vacuum, only to have the system clog or plug all the time. A well-designed system by a Lake Valley Vacuums professional keeps airflow smooth from start to finish and is the backbone to your systems functionality.
Not all machines are created equal and choosing a high-quality machine will make a big difference in the longevity and functionality of your system. Chat with us about our recommendations and top picks for reliability and Canadian-made quality.
- VacPans: A vac-pan is a sweep under the cabinets in the kitchen, mudrooms and bathrooms which helps with instant clean up for small jobs.
- Hoses, powerheads, and other attachments help tackle dust, dirt, pet hair and allergens with ease.
Standard Central Vacuum Systems
Standard systems have hoses that are stored separately and are plugged in to the wall outlets whenever your ready to vacuum.
Outlet Options: You can stick with our everyday standard outlets or eliminate all extra cords and power your powerhead straight from your hose.
Standard outlets will have an electrical plugin right beside the outlet to supply power for your powerhead. Super-valve outlets have power built into the outlet and will supply power to your powerhead right through the hose, eliminating all extra cords and plugins
Retractable Systems
Retractable systems take the convenience of central vac up a notch. Store your hose inside the wall for ease of use —just pull out what you need, then let it suck neatly away.
Your hose will be stored inside the walls. Simply open the inlet door, pull out however much hose you need, and when you’re done the hose retracts automatically with the suction from your machine. Easy & convenient!
Why people choose retractable systems:
- Clean look: No bulky hose reels or wall-mounted boxes.
- Instant access: No more excuses to postpone house cleaning and easy access for those quick jobs – convenience without the clutter.
